Our Mission

The mission of the Jewish Federation of the North Shore is to promote the welfare and continuity of the Jewish people.

We will accomplish our mission by:

• Raising funds to meet the needs and aspirations of Jews on the North Shore of Massachusetts, in Israel, and worldwide
• Supporting the programs of our local beneficiary agencies that provide people of all ages with positive Jewish experiences; improve access to quality Jewish education and dynamic cultural programming; inspire the next generation to embrace Jewish life; provide urgent services for the most vulnerable in our local community and abroad
• Funding new and innovative initiatives that respond to the changing needs of our community
•  Providing central leadership and fostering collaboration among North Shore Jewish agencies and institutions with the goal of strengthening our local Jewish community and enriching the quality of Jewish life on the North Shore.
