Combined Jewish Philanthropies, Jewish Federation of the North Shore to Merge Effective July 1

Combined organization will create a more vibrant, unified Jewish community across Greater Boston

The Boards of Directors of Combined Jewish Philanthropies (CJP), Boston’s Jewish Federation, and the Jewish Federation of the North Shore (JFNS) proudly announce their merger, which recently was approved by JFNS members. The merger will take effect July 1 and the combined organization will be called Combined Jewish Philanthropies. Read more.

If you or someone you know in Peabody, Danvers, Salem, Lynnfield, Middleton or Beverly is expecting or has had or adopted a baby in the last six months, let us welcome you with a home visit and gifts! The Welcome Baby! North Shore pilot is a partnership between JFNS and CJP, and is administered by JF&CS. To receive or refer a Welcome Baby! gift and home visit, contact

Join Federations' Oklahoma City Tornado Relief Efforts
JFNS extends its deepest sympathy to the people of Oklahoma City in the wake of the recent massive tornado that killed at least two dozen people, injured scores of others and devastated entire neighborhoods.
